“All of Me” singer John Legend and his actress-model wife Chrissy Teigen are planning on selling their one-bedroom Nolita apartment.
The Real Deal reported that the couple is looking to sell their 1,969-square-foot apartment located at 374 Broome Street at the Brewster Carriage House. When the couple bought the apartment situated between Nolita and Little Italy, they wanted a space that was warm and welcoming — not too concerned like most celebs about have a “million-dollar view.”
Legend bought the apartment in 2012 for $2.5 million. He recently had renovations done by Don Stewart and architect Winka Dubbeldam. The designers used the rustic cues from the building it is housed in, letting the 19th-century warehouse give the created space an old-school industrial look.
The apartment was featured in Architectural Digest on the cover after it was finished being renovated.
“We wanted a place that was, you know, much more homey and had more soul to it,” Legend said in Architectural Digest.
Jason Walker plans to list the Nolita apartment next week and has helped Legend sell real estate properties.
