Floyd Mayweather refuses to lose, and we’re not just talking about in the boxing ring. GossipExtra.com reported earlier today that Mayweather has decided to pull his Sunny Isles Beach penthouse off the market after the value of the condo continued to drop with no sale.
According to Miami real estate listings, Mayweather put the condo up for sale a year ago for $2.6 million. Unable to make a sale, the price was reduced four times and eventually came to a stand-still of $2 million, which is almost a thirty percent cut.
However, following his victory against Manny Pacquiao, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather has decided to keep his “palace in the sky” and opt for a complete renovation. Mayweather’s realtor, Tanasha Pettigrew, says “he’ll hire an interior designer to renovate the entire penthouse.” When asked how much he’ll spend, Pettigrew replied “ Oh, you know Floyd. “He’s classy and flashy, so he’ll spend quite a bit of money on it.”
So what made the boxer change his mind? The Miami Herald claims that Pettigrew said “Now he just wants to keep it. He didn’t want to be involved with any real estate transactions while preparing for the fight.”
The upscale condominium has a gourmet kitchen, living room with a wet bar, cabana patio, soaking tub and offers waterfront views. All Condos at Saint Tropez include access to a swimming pool, fitness center and a Jacuzzi.
